Ceramics

Tableware:

Each piece is individually made so expect slight variations in size and colour to items pictured on the website. All items listed in stock it will be dispatched within 3- 5 working days.

All pots are made of stoneware clay and high fired for strength and durability. They are all microwave and dish washer safe.

They are, however, a handmade item so handwashing would be the favoured option.

One-offs:

These will be as shown on the website. These are not as durable as the tableware range and should not be treated in the same way.

A light dusting or cleaning with a dry fine brush or lint free cloth will ensure that they continue to look their best.

Paintings

All original paintings are on either canvas (with highest quality, strong pine stretchers) or canvas board.  All are original artworks (not reproductions) in either acrylic, oil paint or a combination of both media.

Delivery

We currently deliver to the EU/UK/Ireland on our website. We will send you a confirmation email when we have received your order. We will then send you another email when your order has been dispatched with details showing the postal service used and any tracking information. If there are any delays in dispatch, we will contact you either by telephone or email you to inform you of an approximate delivery date. In some circumstances we may need to contact you with regards to delivery costs if the cost quoted by our delivery provider is substantially higher than our estimated online cost. You can cancel your order at this point if you do not wish to proceed. All orders can be cancelled at any stage before dispatch.

All orders are packaged using recycled or recyclable materials wherever possible.

Delivery UK

We use Royal Mail Standard, Signed For and Special Delivery services for most orders. Depending on the service used (3-5 working days)

For larger and more valuable packages we use various tracked courier services (3-5 working days)

Delivery Republic of Ireland

We use Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed for most deliveries.

(3-5 working days)

For larger and higher value packages we use various tracked courier services and Parcelforce Ireland Express (3-5 working days)

Delivery European Union

We use Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed for most deliveries.

For larger and more valuable packages we use Parcelforce Global Services and various tracked courier services.

Please note: As a result of Brexit negotiations between the UK government and the EU, we as a Northern Ireland based company now operate under the ‘Northern Ireland Protocol’.  As such, Northern Ireland is still part of the EU single market for goods and, unlike England, Scotland and Wales, there is no customs duty to pay on the goods you receive from us.

 

Studio pick up:

This is an option if you live locally. Please click this option at checkout or email us at:  johnandvaleriemckeag@gmail.com  – a date for pick up can then be arranged.

Returns Policy

We hope that you are happy with your purchase, however, if the goods arrive damaged or you are dissatisfied, you have the right under UK distance selling regulations to cancel your order and claim a refund within 14 days of receipt of the goods. You then have a further 14 days in which to return the goods. If 14 days have passed since you received the goods, we cannot accept a return.

For items that arrive damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt. Before sending the goods back, notify us by email and provide your order number, first and last name, the name of the product being returned and a brief description of the reason for the return and whether you want an exchange or full refund. Email: johnandvaleriemckeag@gmail.com   

When you have notified us that you wish to return an item for refund/exchange and have received instructions from us, the goods must be returned in the original packaging and condition for resale. Please do not ship goods before contacting us.

Please note that returned parcels remain the customers responsibility until safely received by us. We therefore recommend that you use a signed for, trackable delivery service and keep proof of postage for your records. We also suggest that you take care with the return packaging and ensure that it is well wrapped and labelled “Fragile”. We cannot process a claim for goods lost or damaged in transit.

We do not cover delivery/ insurance costs of goods returned to us or refund the original delivery/insurance costs.

Once we have received the goods and are satisfied as to the condition, we will notify you and arrange any refund/exchange due. We aim to process refunds within 10 working days after goods are received by us. Payment will normally be made to your original method of payment.

Sale, discounted items and items from seconds sales or customised items cannot be refunded.

On our website we have made every effort to reproduce as accurately as possible the colours of our work. However, we cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display will be as accurate.
